    prop/motor question

    I have a 2005 Yamaha 90...When I get the rpms above 5000..the motor goes faster but not the boat speed...I have a 19 pt prop Its a Michigan wheel Vortex..Do I need to go with more pitch?

    it picks up to a certain point then it is to high...I then lower it till the motor quits racing

    no no...After I hit 5000 grand it does it...I never ran it past 5500 rpm..
