I would have no luck at all. Mechanic calls me this morning and says I've got water in my lower unit oil.I just put new oil in before the rally. He says I have a seal out and need an update kit. There goes some more $$$$$$.

Hmmmm.......5 grand to fix motor. 50 grand for a new boat. I think I'll fix the motor.

At least them Ranger aren't in the shop.....
Everyone's boat goes to the shop if you have it long enough and use it. One of the joys of boat ownership.
Mine spent a month in the shop last December if you recall
it's not the boats fault,,,,, most of the time it's whats on the back of it ....like i said darn welfare motors.... don't worry mines black too... it was in the shop last year more times than it was in the water.... starter kept hanging upall the time. worst than 2 dogs
