anybody know the ft lbs to torque the head bolts and the order for a 06-250 hpdi?
I'm sure it's listed in the repair manual, but I don't have one. Sign one out from your local library (I did that when I rebuilt an old ProV 150 in 1989).
Off the top of my head I'd say its something like this....
The head bolts are tightened in two stages. First go around the torque should be 15Nm or 11 ft lbs. The second and final go around should be 29Nm or 22 ft lbs. Oil the bolt threads before installing.

Thanks Mike, great info. My motor just turned 15 hrs and I am running the 10 hr check. This was the only thing left and I couldnt find a repair manual for a 06 model. Thanks again!
My motor has the torque value and the sequence cast into the block. ??????
mine is stamped on the Heads (2006 225hp HPDI) in Nm - look and see if yours are...
