Milford Lake

Ryan and I fished Milford lake today. Fished for bout 4 hours or so. I caught about a 6-7 pound drum on a tube. Whoa, that sucker was a scraper. Ryan caught a decent largemouth on a jig. Was very slow, but nice to get out. Water temp in Farnum creek was 43.3 and 42 on the south end near the south boat ramp.....

Duff and I were out for a bit yesterday, but spent most of the couple hours we were on the water playing around with the boat and making sure everything was in proper working order. Boat ran great, was very pleased. Guess it is time to officially get the Skeeter ready to sell, going to keep the Ranger.

Good deal, glad to hear that she is ready to roll. What kind of top speed you getting? Ryan and I saw a sweet A$$ looking Z20 on the water. Them Rangers sure are nice boats. What year is the bug??

Not sure on top speed, no GPS (yet). The Skeeter is a '97. It will make someone a great boat, I absolutely loved that little thing.

I think we woul dhave been able to find something if I would not have had to be home by 5/6 last night. Guess I found out why once I was home...........Wifes folks were coming over to give her a B-day gift & Bluberry Cheesecake (mmmmmmmmmmm)..........Atleast I have till Wed. to give her a card

Randy..............I had a good time & you have a great little Champ 181 there..................Too bad that fish had to be a <edit> Drum instead of a Smallmouth

Tim, that little skeeter you had is nice. I don't remember it too much, I just remember is had a smokin hole shot. Good luck in selling it. Kinda like saying good by to an old friend.

Hard to fish when you have a new boat to run around in. Really a good feeling for Tim when everything worked right. Always scary when you have a new boat to see how its going to go. If I had to guess it wont be the last time we'll be on ther water.

As far as the skeeter goes it still it a nice boat. Spent quite a few days in the back of that bug spitting seeds and catching fish. Whoever gets it will be happy. Heres to the skeeter. And heres to the Ranger
