It's that time of year again!! If you want to catch a bunch of quality fish, come down NOW!! Here is my limit from the Thursday evening 3 fish tourney - 13,62 lbs. We had 7 fish over 4 lbs. in a 3 hour tourney and had over 30 keepers. Sorry for the fuzzy pic - it was getting dark.
All fish were released alive.
Congrats. I heard it was getting good. We were headed to Barkley and did not fish. May try and fish this week. Actually Saw Ronnie Stinson on a ledge today on Barkley. Said they were wacking them pretty good.
I finally got out on Barren this past week.... You are right, it is heating up very fast! I hope to be there a couple times a week for many weeks to come!
I had an excellent 2 days there Friday and Saturday. It was a blast.

State is now Open, I beleive Port Oliver is open now as well.

Hope to get up there one day this week. Hitting Nolin on Wednesday too.Last time I was up at Barren was back in the middle of May. Had 17lbs by the Port Oliver ramp. Saw some HUGE bluegill swimming around the playground.
