What is it like to fish a lake 22 feet over summer pool?

Interesting to say the least. Daniel and I had the FOM on Barren yesterday. The biggest challenge is finding some actual shoreline that you can get to, otherwise you were pitching at tree tops in 25-40 feet of water.

It didn't stop the Navy from showing up though! On Friday it took some guys an hour to get out of the water. Pontoons are usually the hold-up at the ramp but when you have one lane it sucks.

    Anyone else been down there?

Tree trunks in the backs of peoplss yard. Was a good pattern about a week ago on a bitsy jig.

Its like fishing a lake on top of a lake.

I was there May 23. Found some fish on the flooded cart road on the golf course! it was too cool when I got back and checked out where we had been fishing on Google Earth. the water was like 50 yds from the are we fished.
