Back Surgery

I am scheduled for Spinal Fusion Surgery on Aug. 5th. 8- 10 hrs of surgery & two days in the hospital.
8 -12 wks before I will be able to think about fishing again.
He said the surgery should help me a whole lot, and by seeing my MRI's he is impressed I am even half walking stright.
One disk is all but gone, with that vert. has slipped about 1/2 way and is pinching a lot of my nerves to my lower end of my body.
Oh well good news he said it will help me a lot, & I was very impressed with the Doc.

Doc said they will have me up and walking before I even leave the hospital, but no driving for a week, and no lifting for a while.
Our real big concern with my recovery is our 4 boxers, or should say our 4 monsters.
If it works as well as I am being told (by others who have had it done) I should feel better right away.
Just getting muscles back in shape, getting the scare tissue broke loose, and not disturbing the bone transplant.

Who worries about how rough the water is now any way, oh wait John N, Dpage both do
I WILL be back on the water for the Hollows SM bite this winter.
