    renegade protest

this is a hoot.friend of mine fished the renegade and missed the final day cut by ounces,he saved his best spot thinking what he had would make the cut but barely fell short.Any way we used that sat to practice for the midwest and I followed him out that mornin so he could show me some stuff he had found and look for more.we seperated a short distance and fished around the area and pulled up and talked a couple of times then seperated for the day to look for fish.Found out today that 2 guys in a nitro z boat that were in the area went to the weigh-in and said I was hole sitting for them(how can you follow and do that),giving them fish and who knows what else.Neither one of us was even in a tournement and we put no fish in the livewell that day because there was no use.I even asked if they were going to fish an area and that I would leave if so.Didnt want to mess them up.think they were from E-town, anyway they must have had a bad day and needed a scapegoat. To me cheating defeats the whole purpose of the competition and who would be stupid enough to do it in the middle of the lake next to the channel in a bright yellow Bullet with a guy in a cat hull bass boat (2 of the most conspicuous boats on the lake.) xxxxxxx

renegade had a couple of problems this year. buddy from here in town, got disqualified than reinstated, then they got his weights mixed with another boat, ..just a terrible weekend for him, we would have made cut down on KY if they hadn't jacked up

we got on some good fish for the midwest but the storm and front that showed up the night before the first day shut us completely down.

they can cheat all they want, they still weren't in the top 3 and thats all that really mattered in that tourney. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it....although that cat hull bass boat does bring a few questions, I wouldn't sweat it.
