Anyone know what else is going on during our mini-rally so we can pick a smart place to launch? I like the Dam or the Moors.
Obviously it is going to be on the 3rd.![]()

Mike, i have not heard of much going on after the end of Oct. How many are you expecting to show up?
We had originally had around 20 boaters vote, but that was widdled down to around 10 on the last vote.
Deer season is upon us about then isnt it.
Mike: I have not heard of anything other than the Ohio group at the Moor's that is listed on the KDFW site...I know they are coming for sure.
I sure hope it stays 94 degrees until then, I love summer, I wish it lasted all year![]()

My.......My.......someone sounds a little bitter.![]()
Dave looks like you picked the perfect date for us to do our guide trip on Ky!! Works out pretty well that we have a mini rally the same day you are taking a BBC guy out.
It would not be fair for us to compete but if you want we can launch and return where they do. Hopefully more of the members on here can get a chance to meet you and we can show them why to plan a guided trip with ya.

Okay, how does Moors sound to everyone? We can have a meal in the restaurant aftrewards.
Sounds good. Set a time and we'll be there.

6am should be good. That way we can take our time to launch?
With the water down I would suggest that if folks are staying at the Moor's they get a slip if any are available....if coming in from somewhere else I would suggest launching somewhere else and coming in by water....with the tournament that is going to be out of Moor's that day it will be a mess to try to launch a boat there.

Billy: I know we planned your trip long before this rally came up so we can do which ever you want since it is your trip. We can just go fun fishing on your trip and go out of the Moor's if you want like you said or if you want to fish the tournament with someone else and reschedule your trip on another day in November that would be ok too..I am easy to please.
When we were down for the FOM last wekend, we stayed at Big Bear Resort (across the bay from Moors). It had a good ramp at the end of the road and the place was not a bad place to stay either.

Mike,
Big Bear is a nice ramp and just another mile down 68.

I am game, but for those staying at Moors, how far of a drive is it? I know it is a mile by boat?
If they put in at moor's it is just short drive by boat, by road it is about 20 minutes.
I was just looking at what Dave was saying about a tournament going out of moor's, could be hard getting in and out of the water.
