    Retirement is terrible.

Boy this retirement thing is getting to me. I had to go to Alabama in January, now, leaving Sunday morning, I have to go to southern Alabama to fish for some redfish with a buddy of mine. Then on the way home I have to stop around Logan Martin and fish for some more Coosa River Spots with Texasbamabass (Kelly White). Then I go in early April to Ky Lake fishing one day with Dave Stewart, and two more days fishing on my own after that. Then the rally in May. Man...I'm going to be worn out! Any one have any suggestions?? (That was probably a loaded question! )

Thanks guys ...all during the time I was teaching, I kept saying when I retired I was going to do these things. I just decided that I can't take the money with me, so I plan to spend it doing what I like! Besides...all this travel, etc isn't all that expensive.

Go for it Bill !! We earned it. Just wish I could convince the wife to stop worrying about what might happen and insurance. But guess someone in the house has to keep a level head

I look forward to being in your shoes in about 20 yrs. (sooner if possible)! I'm trying to do my best to 'practice' for retirement as much as I can...I don't want there to be a learning curve once it finally happens. Have fun man!!!!!!!

I love retirement. If it weren't for my fishing partners being retired I wouldn't be able to fish so much!!

Can give you guys all approaching retirement a Big hint....DO NOT, buy a small farm (ours is 38 ac) you will end up doing more work and spending more money than you ever did......but the peace and quite is really hard to beat
Our closest neighbor is 1/2 mile away and most of them just go MOOOoooooooo

I think as long as you don't go and buy a farm, or do something crazy to create alot of work for yourself, retirement can be an extended vacation.

    Seriously Ed.
