    Don-Injector Cleaning Question

    Don,

    I've pulled my injectors and getting them ready to send to you, question is how do you want them.......

    With;
    top screen still installed ?
    top fuel rail "O" Ring still installed ?
    cushion seal still installed ?

    Thx,
    Gary

    Re: Don-Injector Cleaning Question (Nikon Man)

    Gary:

    Good question!

    We prefer that you send the injectors in with the TOP O-ring and Filter still intact.

    This ensures that we can flow test the injector "precisely" as it was when removed from the engine, prior to cleaning.

    Both will be replaced during service with your Keihin Injectors.

    We do not need the cushion seal... as it's not replaced during servicing (normally).

    You're welcome to leave them on, or off... at your own discretion.

    Thanks Don, I'll just leave them on. I'll send them out to you tomorrow.
