Whatever works. During rifle season, when everyone who can find a gun "hunts", you are liable to see them on the hoods or cabs of cars like a christmas tree.

I have been there and done that exactly on a Chevy Blazer. But we had 2 on the back like that. It ain't easy. but we also had one inside. And 4 of us in the truck with all our crap.. Life was fun when I was in highschool. Only 1 of us had a 4wd that more than 3 of us could ride in and carry all our stuff and make the 100 mile trip to my buddy's grandpaws farm Felt like jackasses and hated to do it, but we got her done.


Another time there was some concern as to the Blazer making the trip so we took the same guys mom's Taurus. We mainly focused on getting there without much foresight as to what would happen if we all killed one. Luckily that time we didn't kill anything.
