    Fuel line/injector

I know this has been beat to death but I still have 1 other question/statement. Is it true that there is no ethanol proof fuel line out there? I have heard from a number of mechanics (Not you Mr. Don) that even after we change to the newest type of lines, we will still need to change the lines every few years. Any truth and if so how often do you recommend us to do it?

I know you offer injector servicing but a what age of the motor or hour mark should we get them cleaned?

We don't have "ethanol proof" lines... even the best are "ethanol resistant".

Fuel lines should be inspected at least ANNUALLY, and replaced any time there are signs of deteroration (as part of your annual maintenance).

In general, I would "estimate" that lines would normally be suitable for use an average of three (3) years.

Although there is no specific interval suggested by Mercury for injector service... I recommend injector cleaning and service at least every 3 years, or 300 hours, whichever occurs FIRST.
