Little help on identification and troubleshooting.

Went over this with my 798 and not sure what this is in a northeastern lake

Then my gps tells me im on shore. If its telling me im on shore are my gps locations accurate!!!??

And How do i help the engine interference or minimize it in this shot and possibly make it more clear?

    thanks guys

Don't have a suggestion for the first image.

For maps that are not aligned correctly, use the Set Map Offset in the Chart tab. The GPS function is correct, the map data is off.

Where is the "engine interference" in the bottom screen shot? What are your SI Enhance settings?

    Re: (Travis Rage)

The fuzzy line beside the centerline on the left side is caused by aeriated water coming off the bottom of the boat hull. You have your transducer to the right of the boat center so the amount of water that fills in behind the boat as you move is the most at the center of the hull. To the right of the transducer, there is less water coming off the hull bottom to fill in behind the boat as you move so the aeration is less. You have a little of that aeration return on the right side.

Notice when you are not moving that the fuzzy line does not appear.

If you install it correctly and set it correctly you can get this type of image:
