    Anybody on here ever smoke a turkey?

    You can IM razor also...he smokes all kinds of food and his smoked turkey is awesome

    Thanks for the advice, I ended up using a reciepe from a book by a guy named Ray Lempe, goes by Dr. Barbeque. Used his rub reciepe, and smoking instructions. Had about 25 family members and friends over for turkey day. My wife got mad at me 'cause no body ate her traditional turkey but ate both of the big bone in breasts I smoked along with the 8 legs I smoked.

    Tried but couldn't get the darn thing to stay lit.

    For Thanksgiving I cold smoked one in a Bradley for 3 1/2 hours, then put it on a Holland Grille with a Turkey Cannon and grilled it for 2 hours.

    It was delicious.

    Also had a block of sharp cheddar in the smoker during the cold smoke.
