How to store & transport locators

I have two locators. Presently I transport in two different bags. I have not been able to find any kind of hard cases for two. I have also thought of using a soft cooler. Any ideas.

Some of the guys are using handgun cases and say they are perfect. Some for storing 2 units. Heard the quality varies between the cases so some are better than others.

I use one of these for my 997.

It works great since the dividers are removeable and it will hold the unit along with the hard cover & ram mount arm still on it just fine.

I bought a tool box that was on sale at Harbor Frt for $24.99. It has foam inside that you can remove (individual pieces). I have a 997 and an 858 in it. Tight fit but have foam all around and the price was right!

I use soft colers. I found some loomis branded ones a few years back for $5 each in clearance and my 104's fit in them great.

I use a Doskocil handgun case for mine. It measures 19" X 14 1/4" (inside measurements) It holds a Humminbird 1197 and a 997 nicely.

Where did you find the Doskosil case you are using for your 2 units?

For smaller locators some CPAP mask bags work. For bigger ones the bags the CPAP machines come in work.

I use the handgun case and trim out the foam where my locators will fit down inside on the bottom side and leave the foam on top. I've got an lowrance hds5 and lowrance hds7 in it.
