    Sneeze???

My 225 efi sn#og584347, sneezed a couple times today, I have been wanting to replace the hoses on the bleed system, and now sounds like a good time to do it. Where can I get some replacement lines from?

Bleed line is available through our parts department.

Email or phone to order a roll.

Good idea to check TPS setting at the same time (just to ensure it's not too lean).

Can i check the TPS with just two leads on the volt meter or do i need the plugs that go in the volt meter and both ends of the plugs

TPS voltage SHOULD be checked by utilizing the correct TPS test harness, a DDT, or the Computer Diagnostic System.

You can, however, fashion a jumper to go across the plug, allowing you to access the leads for testing (use extreme caution not to short any wires to each other in this process- I MUCH prefer utilizing the correct tool, as it's MUCH safer).

My sons did the same thing. Cough on idle. Bad Tracker valve. Replaced it no cough. See if you have gas vapor on the air side of fuel rail at scharder valve with engine idleing, should be none.

The engine referenced in this post is an EFI engine, and HAS NO TRACKER VALVE.

    On your son's Optimax.....

Actually.... not uncommon to have Gas VAPOR on air side.

LIQUID FUEL, however, should NOT be present, and is an indication of a LEAK IN THE AIR SYSTEM (which can include the tracker valve, direct injectors, air hoses, pressure regulators, air compressor), OR a FUEL LEAK and on the fuel side: fuel injectors or fuel injector o-rings).
