    Baby Monitor In the Boat

While having the boat parked at the motel, place a baby monitor in the boat so you can hear what is going on, while you are in your room. That and a lock-r-bar seems to work well.

Thats a good idea! I'm a Mom and never thought of that!! Them baby monitors sure come in handy though. Chad bought one when I came home from the hospital so he can hear if I moved or cried while he was in the other room, we didn't have to worry about me bustin staples out yellin for him!!

This from a person who has no clue..... How far does the monitor coverage work? Some of our motels have the boat parking a good distance from the rooms... Terrific idea BTW!!!!!

Re: Baby Monitor In the Boat (Lea)

Most of the rooms we get are no more than 150 feet away(1 place we stay the boat is right out the front door). I think they have some monitors out now that go up to about 1000/1500 feet.

    nice!!! Awesome idea.
If you want good reception at a greater distance, get the 900 MHz or even better 2.4GHz models.
