Bow of Ranger flexing under trolling motor. Any suggestions?

The bow of my ranger 375v will flex under the trolling motor. I put a big piece of plywood on the underside last weekend and squeezed it up using the trolling motor bolts but it didn't make much difference. So now I'm thinking I might need to put something on the top that will cover the full bow so I can squeeze the bow in between the wood I have underneath with whatever would work best on top. You guys have any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Darrall

nice piece of aluminum plate the width of the bolt pattern or a little wider will work and use all the holes for bolts on my Mg I used 6 bolts and 1/4 inch piece of rubber the whole length but didn't have a flexing problem so rubber was for an isulator factor quieter and all.

the nose has plywood encaspulated under the glass, if the holes for the trolling motor wern't sealed you may have a bit of soft wood. You could always do a rot docter treatment on the holes to firm up the plywood.
