    rod lockers

    Hey guys getting ready to do new carpet in my champion but my rod lockers carpet is trashed is there another option for lining the rod lockers? don't really want to hassle putting carpet back! thanks ~~MATT

    Are you talking about inside the rod locker? If so, several guys on here seem to be spraying bedliner inside of them. Looks sharp and ought to last...

    if your rods are loose inside the lockers the texture of the bed-liner spray could damage the finish of the rods.

    I have heard some guys doing that as well. But like stated before if you have the rods just laying in there with no rod holders built inside your rod locker. I would probably damage the finish on your rods and reels. So be careful. If guys are doing it i am sure they have a trick of how it was done and how to prevent them from being damaged.

    i have a rod organizer in my locker so damage should not be an issue

    carpets should come out easy and the reglue of the new ones don't have to be that precise...
