Dealer checked the poppet valve said it was ok, intakes are clear
Well, that only leaves one thing to do. DON!! What was the reading before and now? Any chance your pressure outlet or tubing is restriced?
Was getting 20 to 25 before at wot now only around 25 pounds
You running a smartcraft? Leave your serial # and Don will see it in the morning.

That doesn't equal a loss of 10 psi...... unless my math skills have deteriorated substantially.![]()
If indeed there has been a loss of 10 psi- ALWAYS, ALWAYS start at the water pump. Don't forget to check the passages BELOW the water pump (especially the low water pickup passages) for wood debris that might be floating around.![]()

I beleive don will tell you 15 to 18 is normal. He likes to see 18psi.

You can buy a water pump kit for this engine (includes everything except the housing) for under $50. Part# 43026Q06

make sure when you pull lower unit off to check/change water pump have a look up inside exhaust housing, look up inside the tuner and see if you see gasket sticking out, i am seeing alot of gskt issues either tuner are powerhead gskt's being blown thus affecting water pressure![]()
If I blew a gasket, wouldn't the boat be running bad?

NOT noticable to the common person, just saying if you have the foot off already save your self some headache and have a look up there![]()
Pulled the Lu, impeller looked good, no gasket stuck, guess back to square one.
