I am in the process of finishing up some work on a ranger 360V. I have the top of the gunwale taken care of (it looks great). But I have not gotten the side of the gunwale yet. I have the same buffer everyone is using, is that what you all used on the side of the gunwale or did you do it by hand?????
Id like to know as well. I was thinking of buying a 3in pad for my high speed grinder and using it. I burnt the gel in a two places that were tight with the big one. Good question.
I burned a very small place as well and dont want to do it again
Guys, just slow down and take your time. Get a feel for the buffer and let her slide.. Don't fight it, just let it do its thing.
Actually was. I am not to bad with it on the big sides but the smaller areas is where I got into trouble. They make a 3" pad so I think thats the way I am going to go.
