360v deck extension

i have an 88 360v and i want to build a deck ext. i have no idea where to begin. i have looked at a few of the builds on here but they are for different 300 series boats. have any of you guys built an ext. for a 360v ? any helf would be great.

i dont have a 360 or ranger at all actually but if you post some pics i might be able to point in the right direction or give you some ideas of how to do it.
