    PLS... Help another fiberglass repair?

hey guys im new to the board, i live in miami, fl., and recently purchased a 92 Tide Craft Wild Fire about a month ago. i have done some research on fiberglass repairs and my question is not so much how to do the repair (although it would help) but just wanted some opinions on what would be the best way to take care of some minor hull damage. i've been looking at some bondo fiberglass resin in short, long strand, or jelly. all water proof and marine grade. do i need to add some cloth or should i use something else? most of the damage are just minor nicks and scratches nothing major with this one located on the back right corner being the worse.

any help or leads would be appreciated. thanks for all the help. best of luck to all!

Alex, I've bought several items from these people.

It's really not too hard to at least mix up your color and fill your blemishes to seal it & also make it look better.

You could even get a little kit at your local auto parts store.

minni-craft in Fla, if you give them make and VIN# they can mix you up some gel paste thats already the same color. Fill and leave alittle high sand all the way up to 1200 grit starting w/ 400 grit and rebuff. Shouldn't be able to tell. Good people they can help you.

Spectrum Colors(800-754-5516),would be my first choice.I have had multiple problems with Minicraft(800-282-8244).Minicraft is in Wildwood,FL.I dont know how close it is to you,but would be cheaper,if it didn't have to be shipped(hazard fees).Good Luck!

I found a product made by evercoat part#108000 phone # 513-489-7600 out of Cincinnati, OH 45242 http://www.evercoat.com . This is a Gelcoat Repair Kit you mix the color. Fairly small kit but its only about 30.00. you may need 2 kits. I used this on a Blazer + My 97 Tidecraft other than theres no glitter. Hope this helps but good luck!
