Trailer for 1985 370V In or Near North Carolina

Anyone got an empty trailer that will accomodate a 1985 Ranger 370 V, I need to rent/or borrow it, while I replace the fenders on my old trailer that got trashed at the boat landing. If I cannot find one, I guess I will wait til fall, and let the local marina lift it off and store it for me, just wanted to have it here keep anything from getting stolen.

You should be able to remove and replace the fenders on that trailer with the boat still on it. The boat is resting on the 4 bunks and only touching the side rails. The fenders are bolted and riveted on. I would remove and replace one side at a time. That way you don't take a chance of getting the side rails out of adjustment. Also be prepared to cut your side light wires and splice them back when you finish.

Side rails are already out of adjustment, when the...idiot....I mean other driver, oops, hit the trailer, he knocked the passenger side one completely off, took about three times lifting it up, and re-bolting to get it back to being even remotely right. However they cannot be changed, or moved without jacking up the boat, so I am almost certain I am gonna have to remove the boat from the trailer. I will just have to measure really good, and hope that I can at leaste get them close. Plus, while I have the fenders off, I have a guy that will paint the whole trailer for 50 bucks, and he is furnishing the paint for that price. I just have to sand the surface, insurance man included that in the check too. Only thing he didn't cover was getting the boat off the trailer long enough to do the work......I will figure something out. I think that I can lift it off the trailer, and let it hang in my dads barn, with some crane straps borrowed from my neighbor the welder.....thanks for all your help, I know my rig would not be in the shape it's in without all the guys at the BBC

Bryan, I took my old Procraft off the trailer a number of times by using a strap or rope around a tree and sliding it off about 3 ft and place some old tires stacked up under it. For the front keep pulling out from under it and place some more under the keel about where it starts to turn up. When you get thru fixing the trailer just wet the bunks with the water hose and winch it back under the boat.
