    2008 250 Pro XS Problem

Ok I need a little bit of smart guy help on this subject. I have a 2008 Pro XS that all of a sudden decided that it doesn't want to have any power coming out of the hole..hole shot is almost gone completely!! To follow this up on the top end I seem to have lost close to 500-600 rpm. Where should I start ? I talked with a good friend who believes it may be a spark plug gone bad.. The last trip out prior to today the motor was running strong, all over 5850-5900 RPM. I did let the boat sit for 2 months with no STAYBILL or any other additive. I did put some fresh gas in this morning and still no difference... I live in central Ga and do not mind driving to have my motor looked at by someone that comes highly recommended!!

Thanks in advance for all comments and post!!

I'm guessing coil. Very common and could find with timing light. Engine running put timing light on each wire and see if spark.

A spark test on all six cylinders would be a good starting point.

If you can spare a day.... we'll be glad to try and get you "in and out".

I could most certainly spare a day.. is this something that is covered under warranty ? Even if its not I obviously need it fixed. Are there any days better than others ??

I replied to your message.... let me know what day works for you.

Once checked out (to determine what's actually wrong), we'll make a "warranty determination".

In general, "defects in materials or workmanship" are covered.
