Then Medford Fire Rescue Ambulance Service and Mass. General saved my life.
Long story short, ya right!
I was having a heart attack while working on a pool in Medford, they had just had a call for a kitchen fire across the street from where I was sitting trying not to panic and die on the spot.
Flagged the chief down as they were leaving told himI thought I was having a heart attack and 1 minute later the ambulance pulled up for the fire which was out before they got there.
The firemen were giving me oxy when this kid who looked like a teenager assesed me and said, you're going to Ma. General. That "kid" calmed Martha down on the phone, prepped me, kept me alert hung on while doing about 65 mph on 93 south. Unbelievable!
We get to the hospital all kinds of staff waiting at the doors, they listen to the medic, start asking me questions on the elevator we go and my heart stops!
I wake up talking gibberish, nothing new there, and I say wtf and they start laughing and say look who's back! They zapped me with some juice and as that was happening they had given me heprin and before they can get the stent in the blockage breaks up and clears! LUCKY L"HEUREUX!![]()
Back home today, need to take it easy for a few but still here dammit.
P.s. I didn't see God when I died so I guess if I don't change my ways this time it might get hot the next!![]()
Glad to be back guys!![]()
