Does anyone have instructions for sync n link on a 1996 efi 225? How hard is it to do this. Can I screw something else up very easily???
Engine is a mariner mag II if that makes a difference.
Thanks

To properly perform a "Sync-n-Link" on this engine.... you're going to need a Service Manual (OEM), general hand tools, a TPS adapter harness, Digital Voltmeter, and perhaps a timing light.![]()

Thanks for the reply. It sounds to me this is better left to the shop. How much time should this usually take? Thanks again

Most reputable shops will charge you one (1) hour or less to complete a Sync-n-Link on your particular engine (this of course would not include any repairs that might be necessary).![]()
