    Massaseecum 11/25/07

Heading out to the lake tomorrow about 9:00. I'm going to have Russ (lunchman) with me. I have been having a dreadful time locating the bass in the deep waters. I've even done a grig trying to locate them. Last week, the only fish caught was in shallow (about 8 feet). Don't have many trips left because I'll be taking the seats out of the boat soon so I can get them replaced. I'm looking forward to THAT project. Last week, there were 2 of us out there. It was someone in a white Nitro. I don't know how they did but they fished in the shallows as well. I'll let you know how things go when we get back.

My day started out at the end of my street. Some BOZO rolled his window down and told me I was crazy. I had my windows up so he couldn't here my reply. He wanted to join me I'm sure of it. RIGHT JAZZ!!! I guess tires for his wifes van are more important than fishing.

Had to break through a thin layer of ice to get the boat off the trailer. There was already a Triton on the water when we got there. Once again I looked for a deep pocket where they might be hanging but I didn't find anything. We fished in waters from 3 feet to 25 feet with no success.

I got home and took ALL my equipment out of the boat. I might have one more trip left before I start tearing it apart. I have to take the gas tank out so that I can replace the seats. It's going to be a FUN project but at least she will hopefully look good next year.
