Fished from about 10 -3:30. Caught probably 30 or so. All buck bass. Most came from the extreme shallows though I caught some off the deep timber. Most all were caught on a senko. Water clarity is much better. Temps started out about 68 but were 72 or so by the time I left. Didnt see any beds but it looks as if the bucks are starting to move up. Still no sign of the females though. Bluegill everywhere but I didnt see any bluegill beds either. Well back to work for another fun 7 days!
We caught 35 from 1730 - 2045 Thursday evening at Beaver. The water is too dirty for sight fishing, but I caught a couple males with bloody tails. We caught a few medium sized females with the biggest being in the 3lb range. I had one VERY nice girl who would have been easily 5.5 lbs jump completely out of the water and shake my hook.Guess she didn't feel like having her picture taken.
WT = 72 degrees.
Sounds liie major action is just around the corner!!!
