Maybe the B.A.S.S. Organization wasn’t that great to begin with which is quite evident from the exodus of many of the Elites.
The resulting anger, sense of abandonment and extreme Butthurt that created so much Vitriol that was directed at individuals involved with the new tour.
Somehow this suddenly put B.A.S.S. on a pedestal of perfection for too long so any short comings were overlooked. Plus the Podcasters were getting clicks bashing the MLF while feeding that rage.
No Professional BassFishing Tour is without problems and financial concerns that are always going to upset someone along the way.
They informed the anglers on day 2 of practice.

This definitely ain't your dad's Bass Anglers Sportsman Society anymore. The noise is getting pretty loud. Seems like BASS is over its anglers at this point. I guess the split probably drove this. They believe they are replaceable, no reason to say they're not after last 4-5 years, but bad PR don't help that very much. I guess we'll see. Clear there is a pretty big riff among the organization and some of it's anglers. I still struggle with those espousing that these guys are "employees". How many of you guys pay your employer to show up and foot all your own business expenses? Pretty evident why BASS tried to institute the "no entry fee" deal, they want more control over the noise and likely this was the way to clamp it down and CYA. I really do hope they get this ship righted, but honestly looking at it from the outside.. Looks like it's time for the Anderson Group to find a buyer.
