So you remember the rumor that an angler wasn't going to be allowed to fish Day 1 at Hartwell? We found out back then that that wasn't true, but I also found out back then said angler had to pay a $5,000 fine in order to be allowed to fish day 1.

Come to find out that was Brock. Yes, this info comes from Slick Johnson. Say what you want about him, but his info is always right. Watch the video for the explanation, but basically Brock had some criticism of Davy, and Davy got pretty upset, said a bunch of things and according to slick even tried to get him removed from the Elites.

What in the world is happening inside this organization? Its non stop drama and poor decisions these days.

Either way, it seems B.A.S.S. really took some brash moves in the off-season via the new contracts/entry fee deal.

Sad to see the degradation of BASS is moving at such an exponential rate. Seems like 4 years ago BASS was drama free and back to its old self before the split, to now it’s even worse than MLF ever has been.

I have shared the same thought as you.

I worked for a company who fired the HR lady for posting a picture on Facebook of herself laying across her desk, topless, with a sign covering her bosom that said “F*** Work”.

But the anglers are more independent contractors rather than employees. Employees would be like Hite, Ronnie Moore, the production staff, etc. While, yes, the anglers did sign a contract that minimizes them from publicly speaking their disdain against the organization, it just seems that anything that’s not praise is considered against the rules. Can never grow to be better if you don’t get constructive feedback especially if it’s negative.

What I don’t get is with all the gossip loving social media influencers out there if Brock did say something publicly on social media, on stage, or some other public platform, it would’ve been spread around which it wasn’t.
