Probably dumb question but I need to know.

In the back of my triton trx 2021 there 3 different breakers or whatever I have to turn off when I.charge. What is the one that you turn to red for off and green for on? I never knew what it is for or called

My boat is not a triton but has 4 disconnect switch. One for main switch to control panel and
compartment lights, one for sonars, one for power poles, and one for TM.
You could turn each one on separately and see what it turns on. I would think that would be a way to find out

My $ says its the master cut off switch to your cranking battery. Its common for items like GPS, live scope, shallow water anchors and other boat accessories to have a small parasite amp draw even if the device is turned off. Hence a battery disconnect to ensure there's no way for a parasite amp draw if you cut the battery off from the devices. Follow the wire from one side of the disconnect and see if it leads directly to the + side of your cranking battery then see where the wire coming out of the other side of the disconnect goes. Once you track down where the wire goes you know what it powers on/off.

In your orgional post you mentioned there was 3 breakers/cutoffs/whatever switches...follow the wire and see what it cuts the power to. Another common thing I have seen is trolling motor batteries on a disconnect. That would be my guess for one more but you mentioned 3 and I can't think of what the third one would go to. A common method is to isolate livescope to its own circuit. Its possible the 3rd one is to cut power to livescope...really all I'm doing is suggesting the most common things. The best way to figure this out is follow the wires coming out of the disconnect and see where it goes and what it kills power to.

My Perko switch is for the main power. It’s located near the cranking battery in my older Triton. I also have a switch dedicated to my power pole. I do not have a third but as mentioned above, it may be for your TM batteries.

I have a ‘24 20XP with three switches. One on the port side is for TM’s. Starboard side is for the engine, livewells, & lights. The red/green switch you refer to is dedicated to the 3 Lowrances and the 360. The dedicated one for electronics was one i had put in….
