Matt 6:34 This is my favorite verse and I try to apply it to my daily walk. Read it and apply it, it'll do wonders in your life.

There's lots of decaffeinated brands that are just as tasty as the real thing.

    Hi Mike.

I'm in day 2 after total knee replacement. I can't sleep, mostly because for some reason I'm up to pee every hour, and it's hell to get my leg down and my walker started.

I am 71+ years old. Worked hard all my life and had some success. My wonderful wife and I have children-which we lost one several years back to a brain clot-I miss you son everyday-And yes I do cry about it---Grandchildren and now great-grandchildren.It is hard to say this but I believe in our destiny.Life is to short to complain about not being able to sleep..We live on acres and when I cannot sleep I walk outside and look at the heaven's..How in the world can you explain what you see. Believe in what you want to believe in but complaining about not being able to sleep in my opinion is way down on my list.We are spoiled,,,,All of us...We have the capability to log onto this sight and have thousands of people read our messages. Slow down--look around you--enjoy life----take the bad times as a challenge ----I know our son is smiling down on us--Not sure why he left us and I may never understand----But just last night--I walked outside with tears in my eyes--talking to my son and some how--some way--in the quiet of the early morning--He told me--Papa everything is going to be OK. Sometimes it is hard--but just smile and thank God for what we do have....

My grandpa used to tell me when I was a youngster back in the late 60s. “Old people aren’t supposed to sleep much, gods way of saying your days are numbered be awake and enjoy life” lol, Maybe I guess, when to bed at 9:30 I woke up at 2:11 this morning

I get to sleep with no problem, the problem is staying asleep. I typically wake up somewhere between 2 and 3 and then get the racing thoughts until I finally drift off again around 5. I think I am going to try the Calm app and use some white or green noise.
