    Power pole remote problems

Hey guys, I recently installed 2, 8’ foot blades with the CM2 series pumps, I’m having intermittent problems with the remotes, the two button key fob seems to be the most problematic, it’s hit or miss if they both go down together or one will go down all the way in the other one will stop halfway, the stomp pedals and the four button remote seems to be better, but I can’t say that those are 100% either, the only way that I’ve gotten it to work pretty much every time is with the phone app, but it’s annoying because it keeps disconnecting. I replaced the batteries in
all of the remotes, I called power pole Tech Support and they told me to make sure the antenna had not fallen out of the boards and they have not popped the covers off, then he said something about possible interference inside the boat, this is still happening with everything else turned off and just the Perko switch on sending power to the poles, the radio is off. The ignition is off. There are no depth finders on. Also, the two button remote refuses to work if I am more than three or 4 feet away from the power poles. If I’m on the bow of boat forget it it won’t do anything. Does anybody else experienced this or know what else I can try ? I’m a bit frustrated at the moment. I just spent almost 5 grand on this to replace two talons that were problematic, huge pain in the ass trying to pull your boat up to the dock in the wind and the poles won’t go down.

Called power Pole tech-support they are sending me two new circuit boards under warranty. One of them has went haywire and just beeps red so he had me to swap the board to the other side and then the other Pump was acting up so he seemed to think that would take care of my issues and the range issues with the remotes

I haven't had a problem with my remotes but I did have a problem with them working together up and down. I turned the speed up to fast and worked them a few times then back to the medium setting. Now they work the same up and down except on slow, one will work correct, the other will be slower and not deploy all the way nor go up all the way. I'm okay with leaving them on medium.
    I BELIEVE!!!! 1A, 2A, VET!

PP tech support will get you right.

I've found, after some time, some PP circuit boards may develop their own agenda. They will work, not work, then start working again. Very random and infrequent.

After going thru intermittent operation and swapping boards between the 2 units a few times, I just now keep a spare control board in my dry storage.

Whenever/Whichever of the 2 units gets fussy, just go straight to replacing that board at the moment - its 5 minutes and it works.
