Comments say, Tyler Williams truck, trey Mckinneys boat
The winds have been brutal out here today. It's been a steady 30-40mph all day with gusts way over that. I live about 40 miles from Ray Roberts and I think they have had higher winfmd speeds today. It was over 100mph up in the panhandle earlier.
I ripped a trolling motor pedal out of my deck and busted a windshield trying to get back to the ramp at Roberts several years ago. It's nasty when the wind gets up. It's about 30,0000 acres and not many hills etc around it.
Day um
Brutal. I think I’d keep it on the trailer and Google earth the lake all day.
We’ve all been caught out in that kind of stuff…glad the kid is safe.
Miss the Summer Classics. Dude is giving it hell to go out today.
No way would I even attempt that. There have been a few times on St. Clair that I've got a few miles out and told my kid.....This is bad let's head back. Mother Nature is undefeated is my go to line.

The dude who took the video needs his a$ kicked. Not sure why in this day we would rather film someone in need vs actually going to help someone out. Pathetic.
Reminds me of some days at the north Kentucky Lake Jonathan Creek Ramp off of Route 68. I have seen a couple of boats sink at that ramp on the wrong wind direction.
Wow!

The wind today in North Central Texas was in the forecast. But around here from April - Sept a thunderstorm can pop up on days there is absolutely zero weather app that has anything in the forecast.
Pretty much everyone I know that fishes a lot around here has been caught in one, and it wasn't for total disregard for the weather. It was Mother Nature being unpredictable at times.
