I see lots of people recommended the Buzbe stuff. I don't have any of their boxes but I have 3 of their cubes. I can tell you that those cubes are super convenient but they are anything but waterproof!! If it's out and gets rained on you'll be emptying it and drying everything off. The water seems to come in where the clear plastic "window" meets the grey vinyl. Very disappointed when I first found that out!

I use an open compartment 3600 or 3650 box and leave all terminal tackle, soft plastics and hooks in their original packaging. Most of my boxes can handle at least different 2 presentations. I don't use more than 2 colors for soft plastics, but try to carry a little bit of everything.

I've tried a bunch, Falcon, Bass Mafia, but have issues with those boxes not being big enough to carry all of my terminal in one box. So last year I sat down and put everything in labeled plymor bags and loaded them into a 3700 deep box. I think I like this method best. I do need to label the box for location of all the different stuff. This is the best so far but influenced by another one of my problems - carrying a hodge-podge huge variety of stuff.

The new OCD box from BKK is genius. It just came out in November so I can’t say how long the inside storage containers will last but the design blows everything else out of the water.

I have been using the H2O terminal tackle box for 4 years now without any complaints. Keep hooks in a labeled small zip locks to keep rust issues away as I fish brackish waters a lot. Does not seem like it closes tight but its never opened on its own.

Old thread, I might have already posted in it, can't recall lol... but I go back and forth b/c tbh I just don't think there is a perfect system. Also a lot depends on what you want out of it, ie just carrying a few hooks and weights down to having a bit of everything just in case to keep a pro's amount of terminal tackle in the boat. I'm a big Bass Mafia guy but really don't like the Terminal Coffin, or more specifically, the wieght holders... Just not a fan of that system. OK for hooks, but not weights. I've also tried the Edge box, but it just doesn't hold enough, imo. I've tried the standard BM Coffin as well.

Have also tried multiple smaller boxes, dedicated wieght boxes like Gruv and the Tungsten Vault, but have finally settled on the two box system, which is pretty common I think. One Deep box that allows you to keep hooks in thier original packaging, whether BM, Plano, or other. (Note, the BM Deep Casket works great for this since it is 4" deep vs 3.25" for the Plano, etc) Then a smaller (3200 G-Box in my case) with weights and rigging stuff like snaps, swivels, stoppers, beads, etc. that I keep up front with minimal wieghts in it, then I keep a Tungsten Vault in the rear with most of my weights, so I can get to it if for some reason I break off a lot or need to setup something non-standard... But any simlar system would work. I also have a few G-Box hook/slit boxes, one loaded full up with various treble hooks, and one as a "catch all" for when I remove hooks/rigs I just keep them in it vs trying to put them back into thier orignal packaging...

For just a few weights and keeping a few hooks in thier original package the waterproof 3600 from Plano works great, as it has one large section where you can put hook packages, and divided sections for some weights, etc. Perfect for a co-anger or bank angler's

If professionals who's careers depend on catching fish use FFS then that's what I'm using. Might be too simple of a philosophy but makes sense to me.

I decided to give the Buzbe Thin Terminal box a try... Like most options, it has it's plusses and minuses. I still using it, but not 100% convinced yet. The latches seem a bit loose, ie they practially fall open when you touch the latch. Not sure if I got a bad one or if they are all like this. Suprisingly, I have had some small items migrate from one section to another, which seems impossible b/c of the design, but apparently it's not. Also imo the 2x size is just too big for hooks, even in the thin version, so there is some wasted space. The 1x size works fine for weights, rigging stuff, and even smaller hooks, up to 2/0 and in some cases 3/0's even fit in the 1x. But larger hooks have to go in the 2x size.

Haven't decided if I will stick with it - might just be another box on the "graveyard" in the garage lol.

I think the 4" deep Bass Mafia I mentioned previously (which I am still using) with small pill bottles for weights and rigging stuff etc or the smaller Gbox for those is just as good, tbh.

I use the older 3600 Plano tackle boxes and group the tackle boxes into different presentations/ lures, all terminal tackle needed will stay in the box with the bait/lure, when going out will take only the tackle box needed for the presentation to be used. Makes life less complicated.

Has anyone checked out the new Terminal tray from Evolution fishing?

    https://www.basspro.com/shop/en/evol...-terminal-tray

I picked one up last time I was at BPS haven't had a chance to use it yet but it is not bad priced and seems to be built half decent,

I don't like the color. I don't think I'd be able to see my hooks against the black background.

Ive tried so many different ones but I just got that Evolution box for $20 it seems solid. I carry straight shanks, heavy and light shank ewg and offsets a bunch weights and it seems to be good so far. Atkeast it has the molded dividers that ruins almost all temrinal.boxes unless you keep your hooks in bags

I had a Plano 7592 guide series for 20 years, really liked the versatility of that box, finally got in bad shape from summer and ice fishing. Looked last year a few times for a new one, Plano web sight and every place I looked said not available or discontinued, they must have made a new run of them, found them at fleet farm this winter.

I have been using a BassMafia Deep box with the small 4 mil ( the 2 mil bags are too thin ) zip lock bags for years and have never had any issues with bags tearing

I tried a ton of other boxes in the past both waterproof and regular and no matter what i used my hooks would get rusty and I just dont like my weights rolling around and the plastic bags solved both of these problems and you can put a pile of terminal tackle in one box this way ,,, kind of like putting hook bonnets on treble hooks ,,, while it decreases the amount of crankbaits that will fit in a 3700 you dont have to untangle anything and for some strange reason the hooks do not rust with the bonnets on

I am a huge fan of deep 3700 sized waterproof boxes and using individual bags to store terminal tackle. Doing this, I can maximize the volume of storage space and still maintain organization.

I am able to fit all of my terminal tackle in one box, with an exception of treble hooks. I have drop shot hooks through punching weights all in one box because I can fit so much. My terminal tackle box has so much it weighs somewhere between 5 and 10 lbs.

My terminal tackle box is a plano 374310 and I use small sealable bags I bought from hobby lobby to put components in. The compartment size in the plano is about the same width and height as those bags so they kind of sit in there like files in a file cabinet.

Do the same. I carry such a mish mash of different stuff it helps to keep stuff straight. Have also done this with spinnerbaits, jigs and chatters with a deep, open 3700 box. Plymor bags.
