Nothing here in Eastern Pa. (Allentown) I"m not even sure the Poconos have safe ice yet.
NO ice up here by Lake Wallenpaupak. My buddy has a bait shop and no one came in for minnows. There is a layer but not thick enough to go out on it yet. Maybe soon with this cold snap coming.Originally Posted by jiggerjake

Lol…. I don’t ice fish. BUT most of my friends do and my S I L. They all keep me posted. I’ll post here when they are out.

I’m on sw side so if I want ice it’s either gotta get cold or I gotta drive to it. Looks like warmer weather coming again.
Been told they are on Wallenpaupak, DuckHarbor, Prompton lake ice fishing….

Was out at my local lake. No ice at all.
They were out only 1 day and that was Christmas Eve. Then the rain and warmer temps had the ice surface watery.
I live across from a lake and I saw only one guy out about 100 feet off shore. NOW nothing .

Almost 2in of ice on some places.
I saw some on a local pond this morning. Rumor has it, the PACK is not thick enough yet.

as of today Friday Jan 17, i was told all lakes and ponds are safe for ice fishing.
if you go out, please be care as there
could be weak spots.
