Dumb first post for me, but I remodeled ours a couple years ago over a course of the winter.

Got rid of the whirlpool tub and fiberglass shower, and put in a walk in shower. Also built a vanity from scratch.

Really don't have much for completed pics, but here's a few anyway

It was a fun, rewarding and time consuming project lol

Nah, a dumb first post would have been talking politics. Welcome to the jungle.

Looks like a fun project that turned out well.

Last year, I renovated my house, including the bathroom. It was way harder than I thought! Without professional help, the process was overwhelming and took much longer than expected. I had envisioned it being an exciting DIY project, but I ended up needing to call in experts to finish the job right.

I've always dreamed of having a beautiful bathroom but didn't know where to start. A friend recommended a fantastic company that handled everything from concept to design, and they made my dream bathroom a reality. If you're looking for a similar transformation, you can find more information here about small bathroom renovations in Brisbane . It really helped to have experts guide the process and ensure everything turned out perfectly.

lol...we are now in the middle of a complete bathroom remodel in our master bedroom. Going with a walk in. I'm doing zero of the work this time. The "remodel" if you're a homeowner is NEVER done.

If your installing a stand alone shower stall, make it at least 3-4 ft. square, more if you want to install a seat. Install a "foot" faucet so you can just wash your feet and don't forget the overhead light.

Back in February I removed 24 blue 4x4” tiles that were randomly scattered in the tub area to replace with a med/dark gray tiles to go better with the recently painted bathroom walls. It turned into a much bigger project than I ever thought but now that it’s done we love the results. I estimate I drilled around 1000 holes in the tiles that needed to be removed and then used a chisel to get the tiles out. Try to find a contractor that is willing to do that !

shower.jpgbathroom.jpgbathroom1.jpgWe just finished a complete reno last week. Removed the jet tub and gutted everything to the studs. I have an enclosed shower as well. We tiled behind the vanity and the shower ceiling and walls above the enclosed unit. Here are a couple of pics.

0E819F12-E068-4F83-B2E0-D932D1663057.jpegWe are just finishing up on our kitchen and bathroom remodel on our 100 yr old house. Let me tell you it’s going on 4 weeks gutted to the studs and did it right but contractor had a heart attack right before we started so it left him one man down on his crew. But his team stepped up and we are now in the finishing stages went with Swanstone for the walk in shower got rid of the tub no one used and got rid of all the tile except on the floor had extra lighting added and ventilation old house had none. Just waiting on plumber to come back and do final hook ups and I’ll post some pics when done also while all that was going on my wife decided to have them paint the parlor and dining room our parlor is 21 x 13 lol Happy Wife Happy Life lol. 4103FC15-3CA1-45F6-B0D0-6BF5B5644618.jpeg

Not that big of a house. Two story, 3k sq ft. The cabinetry was $10k, the hardwood floors through 3/4's of the downstairs was nearly $10k. Demo and appliances added up to close to $10k. Prices are through the roof for most every thing.

I also would of gone with heated floors if I had thought about it early enough and could of fit in into the budget but do have heat in the vent and light combo . You learn a lot as you go along as far as cabinets and different choices and things you would do differently but live and learn as they say. I won’t be doing anymore I’ll be dying in this house lol at 72 yrs old don’t think another remodel is in my cards lol
