    Guide wrap suggestions

Ok more rod questions, decided on a Rainshadow RX8 blank, its Titanium Chrome in color, what color guide wraps/trim? Doing TICH guides and hood on reel seat.

    Re: Guide wrap suggestions (hsb)

I have built two of the rx8 blanks, one spinning and one casting. I used a scarlet red wrap with silver trim on each side of the wrap..Looks killer....

+1 on the scarlet and silver. I have done one like that and is the best looking rod i've built.

Thanks guys, I like the scarlet/silver idea. Leaning towards that or Black with gray or silver trim.

I think grey trim would disappear some. I'd go silver.

So I ended up with silver trim and garnet wraps, think it turned out pretty decently.
