    Here's ons for the Books

Had warranty problems Merc 250 XS and merc sent a factory rep to supervise..he would not ride in the boat....20' Bullet....said Merc's ins co. would not allow so my mechanic was not able to test the engine because he could not drive and read the ECU computer at the same time.No wonder they are having so much truble w/that engine...no one at Merc will ride in a boat w/that model engine

Have Merc send Tec Rep Mike G he'll not only ride in it but he'll drive the fire out of it.

He drove my Stroker last year when Merc sent a block for him to set up with my dealer Redline

Blazer.... while I appreciate your issues, we both know what your boat is capable of.... essentially "unwinged flight".

We're only a hop, skip and jump down the road from you.... although I'm pretty well past the "run fast syndrome" stage of my life, we'll do whatever is necessary to get your engine checked and corrected... within our power (including Dyno if needed).

Don...The engine is now it's old self...my mechanic didn't know why it would not run nor why it is running now.Has a new over rev switch and a new ecu...and the merc tech told him to return the boat /engine to me.Any more of the same problems and i will call you....bring the boat/engine down so you can doctor it.Thanks for your help. Bill

    Glad to hear it!

My guess is the PCM/ECM change was the solution... perhaps a calibration issue.

BTW... there's no "over-rev switch" (it's handled by the PCM).
