    You misread my post. I could see the fish in open clear water take the spinnerbait and when I set the hook the bait comes out of their mouth too quickly. And no it is not that I am reacting to this visually, I can see and feel them suck in the bait.
    Just not the rod I thought it would be. I am sure it works great for somebody just not me.

    Just not the rod I thought it would be. I am sure it works great for somebody just not me.

    that’s not a rod issue !!!

    Guys, just to end this misunderstanding I have been bass fishing for 50 years and know when a rod is not doing what I want it to do.

    I am moving on with that said and have a Cara head turner for sale to whomever wants to buy it off me.
