I went fishing with my Alabama buddy today. All I heard all day was that the FSU Coach should be fired because he is unhappy their team is not in. I told him that he needs to be fired for not putting me on fish. LOL!

For you FSU fans, did you know that just under two years ago the ACC Commissioner was not for expanding beyond 4 teams?
Texas who also had a loss? We might have played them eventually in the playoff. People can try to justify this any way they want, but FSU manhandled LSU and beat Florida in the swamp. Now you can say those teams were not good but neither are the majority of teams in the SEC. We didn't get to play Vanderbilt, Arkansas, Mississipi State, Old Miss, Tennessee or any of those other teams either. It is not like the SEC has any good team other than Georgia and Alabama and that is the way it is in most conferences. For all the BS PSU hype and their major over ranking there were really only 2 big teams in the Big 10 this year as well. The same with the PAC 10. Washington and Oregon.
Conference homer crap is just that…crap. But like I said earlier. Line up the ACC against the SEC by conference ranking and tell me the record. I would be willing to bet, a lot, they (ACC) might be favored in 2 games.
FSU is not in mostly because of that last game. It was horrible plain and simple.

Once again they had their 3rd string QB in because of a concussion to the second string in the Florida game. I doubt Alabama would look that impressive if they had to put their third string QB against a ranked opponent. Different rules for different conferences.
Florida State University was undefeated....... They should be in and Alabama out. The committee had to come up with a reason to put Alabama in. Favoritism is strong and sickening.
By the way I am a Sooner fan and did not want to see Texas in there, but they deserve to be there unlike Alabama.
I thought it would be Michigan, Washington, FSU and Texas. That made the most sense to me based on the regular season results.
Check…that’s why I said by conference ranking…you keep touting the UF win (and I hate UF, and wanted a beat down) they might be the 13th team in the conference. I can’t stand this argument, even worse after bowl season.

They want Saban to have one more championship so bad, If Bama beat UGA they were going to figure out a way to get them in. It is just the way it is. Those of us in the SEC see it every year.

I didn’t say outcomes. Where are the spreads? And I wouldn’t bet on UNC, Duke, Miami, or Clemson. And I’m definitely not a SEC homer, in fact I can’t really tell you a SEC team I particularly like. I’m a Texas fan, grew up there, went to school there (though later in life), and as soon as I can leave junk KY will most likely move back. FSU needed to play better in the last two games to be in, putting them in would all but guarantee Michigan is in the NC (evident by their expressions when Bama was chosen). Is it fair, no. If stupid Auburn doesn’t allow one on one coverage with 8!! In coverage, or if UGA wins, FSU is in. I’m not sure Texas would be in if any of those happen, probably out.
Well for people who actually watch college football outside of the SEC, this is a list of teams that would be favored if they were to play, give or take one, maybe two.
