Washington is not one of the 4 best teams in my opinion. If they were going to insert Bama then they should have also inserted either UGA or OSU.
I think the committee got it right, but based on the reward system the way it used to be, FSU did get the short end of the stick. They probably would have gotten rolled by any of the four picked though. Bobby Bowden is doing somersaults in his grave.

They’re not even in the ballpark of the best team without their QB. I mean it’s the equivalent of Patrick Mahomes going out for the season, and still saying they are the Super Bowl favorite. They wouldn’t even win a playoff game.

FSU's 2nd QB is no slouch and will be back for the Bowl. It would be quite interesting if they beat GA in a bowl.
