So you guys just believe everyone in the world is going to heaven? It doesn’t matter what we do, what we think, nothing? Atheists are going to heaven, unrepentant murderers are going to heaven?

Yikes! We may be farther apart in our beliefs than I was thinking.

I have never met a Christian that thinks that. I am not going to explain everything involved in how to truly be/become a Christian. You may be right to not trust man telling you are wrong, but if you if allow, the Holy Spirit will lead you to all truth. Start down a path where it is you and him. Get rid of all your rituals, confessions to men, praying to anyone but God in Jesus name long enough that you here the spirit speak to you. Draw near to him and he will draw near to you. You are missing something so great, and you don't even know it.

Thank you, that’s all I’ve been saying!! ! Go back and read everything that I have said in this thread. I haven’t brought up any Catholic teachings. I haven’t said anything about confessing your sins, praying to Saints, Eucharist, Sacred Tradition, nothing……

But to say that we are all ASSURED of our salvation just isn’t true in my opinion. We are all ASSURED we CAN obtain salvation - that I’ll agree with.

If I said something in this thread that you disagree with, call it out. But if you are making assumptions about what I am stating because you are aware that I am Catholic, then that is not fair.
