New TW website layout...

With the old site you could right click on a pic and open in a new tab and it would blow the pic up to a full size page ,,, now when you try it's even smaller than whats on the screen to start with

Still works on the new site for me. Tried on a few different things with the same result on each one.

This is a standard reaction across the IT industry. People do not like change, end users don't care if its better, cheaper, more secure. I literally had end users call and complain about a broken application because we changed a color on one of the forms we pushed to production. As time moves the end users will praise the new system and bash the old. End user 101.

This effects how we design applications, its a question we ask when designing. Is this worth the making the end user upset.

I still can’t figure out what the complaints are about, I see very little different about it. I find all the same info within seconds. I am using an iPhone, so maybe that’s the difference?

Did you read the other posts in the thread? Several said that these online sales sites are trying to change their sites to make them easier for those that shop on their phones, but that it often makes them less likeable to those using a PC.

I too agree the layout is fine.. And I never use my phone for shopping.. ALWAYS a PC user.. I have completed two purchases from TW in the last 5 days.. zero issues

The site isn’t horrible or impossible to use, but it’s definitely worse than the old one. They spent a ton of money to change and made a worse product. Sounds like the old place I worked. Lol

On my IPad when you click on a picture it blows it up even bigger than it did on the old site.

Just tired it again and it does just the opposite on my PC ,,, the pic is tiny on my screen ,,, its actually 10 times bigger if i do not click on it

If you are in the shop by mfg page Everytime you want to go back to the mfg list you have to start all over. You should be able to go back to the alphabet section you were in, not have to start over.

And that is what an end users mind is like. Can only see what is in directly front of them. 95% of the population thinks this way, so its not a big deal , we just have to consider it.

After playing on the website for days its still trash, went to order some OG Rocco crankbaits and there is nowhere to select colors or even shows the different color options, and taking you back to the top of the page everytime you go back is ridiculous. What other websites are y’all using to order from?

Land Big Fish, The Hook Up tackle and the Tackle Trap for me ,,,after this website change I will only use Tackle Warehouse as a absolute last resort,,and before someone says it,,,, I am very aware of they could care less about my business ,,,
