    Beaver type baits

Whats your opinions on the net bait b-bug? I know theres all kinds of knock offs and most are good but they are the claw type. I really like the sleeker profile of the reaction innovations just not the price. So how does the net bait b-bug compare? Thanks for your input, Chad V

    Re: Beaver type baits (Nitrochad)

I use the RI sweet beaver a lot here flipping laydowns and such. I have found the netbait to be a suitable replacement when I just cant get my hands on any RI for an upcoming trip. I will say they seem to fall a little faster than do the RI. They do seem to me to hold up a little better than do the RI. I still use RI as my first choice partly do to the color selection the offer but also have good success with the b bug.

I too will use the Net baits and have done well with them at times, but overall RI is my "goto".

the sleeker profile in thick mats can be an advantage and they catch fish just as good.b-bug is a good flippin bait.

VnM baits makes a slick beaver thats not bad but original RI beaver gets my nod. Theyre made so you can flip em over when one side is worn out. I still catch fish with em flipped over.

LOVE the B-Bug! Caught a six pounder on it last year, and was catching fish flipping when my uncle wasn't getting bit on his craw bait. Those baits get my vote!

I don't think design is a huge deal as it is many times a reaction bite/on the fall. Most important to me is a good supple plactic, thin profile, and the right hook/line to ensure a good hook set.

I have done better on the smaller size b-bugs. I like them better than RI. Just for me have caught more. Power team baits are good really like the texas craw for punching deep weeds.
