I'm sorry, but I don't give a damn where you're at in the standing after DAY 1. Bernie was in 5th with 16-4 and Caleb was in 36th only 4lbs behind him. That aint your spot because you fished it day one. That's why they reverse the blastoff order days 1 and 2 so everyone has an equal chance to get to their first spot on either day 1 or 2.

Day 3 and especially day 4 are totally different, but DAY 2 nahhh get outa here with the I caught em here day 1 this is my spot and only my spot BS

. I believe there are unwritten rules in tournament, bass fishing, especially at the higher level where a competitor that is higher in the standings in supposed to give up his spot for someone who is in the top five or 10 should that have been applied here??? And I agree the reverse launching order usually keeps this in check- I believe Bernie should have waited for Koopal to go up the bank and then he should have come in-I will say ever since the pandemic and massive amounts of people on lakes people do this shit all the time by me and then, if you say some thing they look at you like they didn’t do anything wrong-I recently brought this up to an older marine guy that was in an old ranger on a lake by me and his response to me was you don’t own the water don’t tell me what to do-I told him have some respect out here and honor peoples areas they are fishing he gave me the finger…. The bigger issue is people are not aware of etiquette on the water, and in this day and age when you try to help them understand that , they either wanna throw down or tell you to go f*ckyourself. What a sad world we live in this bullshit didn’t happen 10 years ago.

I purchased my first bass boat in the 90’s while living in Florida, It happened back then also. when I moved to the Midwest where the lakes are much smaller in 2000 I really started to notice it much more. I have heard from guys on many different occasions “I’m fishing in a tournament” as the excuse for being rude.

I disagree 💯 it definitely happened 10 years ago and it will still happen in 10 more. Some folks just don’t care about anyone or anything but themselves
