    Lucky E Strike sheaky heads

Anybody here try the Lucky E Strike shakey heads yet. I like them because or the bait holder screw is built into the head. These look nice but before I order some just want some oppions.

Luck ''E'' Strike Finesse Round Jigheads feature a spring that holds the plastic secure and allow the bait to display more natural movement. Molded with premium Gamakatsu® hooks.

Re: Lucky E Strike sheaky heads (racefan)

I was wanting to try some since they are a football shape. I think this is the best shape for Shakey Head fishing. But, I dont like they eyes they have painted on them. I guess I could take a sharpie and fix it, or just scrape them off. But, I'd rather they just make them with a solid color instead of having to put in the work on them.

They are exactly what I've been looking for in shape. There are many many many types out there with the screw in bait holder. I'm not a big fan of it. I have tried several types with and without it.

The spring is too big of diameter for thin worms and such... Better siuted for bulky baits.

21XDC you hit the perfect combo with your home made ones. Have you tried them out yet?

Do the ones with the holder loose on the Eye work better like the Hookerz Tackle ones.

OHH. I missed the bottom of the original post where it said ROUND jig head. I've seen some LuckEStrike's that are football heads. those are the ones I want to try.

Oh I have tried them out plenty... Mine work better than anything I have seen in the stores... I just wish I could make them in mass quanity and sell them.... One at a time don't interest me in selling them though.

Re: Lucky E Strike sheaky heads (21XDC)

got any pics? I saw some at the JB's Custom Rods booth at the last show here. I should have bought those instead of the Daves I bought. I really dont like the Daves. But, the ones I saw at JB's looked great. I especially liked how the bait was held. It had very little material around the hook where the bait was held. They looked like they would hold up a bait better than any other. It also seemed to have a lighter hook than others that would also allow the bait to float better. I guess I'll have to wait until the next show. I dont know where his shop is.
