So, just about everyone on this board has been to at least one of our Eastern VA/NC rivers and seen brackish water. Ever wonder how it was made? Well I figured it out. Just follow these 10 simple steps:
1) Come home from work and slip into a pair of shorts, a T-shirt, and some flip-flops.
2) Go outside, jump on the mower, and mow the yard.
3) Once complete, break out the weed-whacker and trim the edges and edge the driveway.
4) Get out the leaf blower and blow all the cut grass and dirt off the sidewalk and driveway.
5) Go inside and pour yourself a nice hot bath.
6) Add a fairly large amount of the green Calgon Bath Oil Beads. The amount used will depend on the size of your tub, but your goal is water with a deep rich green color.
***Note: Only the green beads will work. The blue does not produce the same result!
7) Jump in the tub and soak for awhile.
8) Lather up the washcloth and scrub yourself down good. Pay particular attention to the dust between your toes.
9) Rinse well.
10) Hop out of the tub and grab a towell. Turn around and look at the tub....
And there you have it......BRACKISH WATER!!!![]()
